Geography

Mobile, Alabama, lies on the southwest corner of the state along the shores of Mobile Bay. It’s just 40 miles from the Florida border and 30 miles from the Mississippi border. Major highways in this area include I-10 and I-65.

Jackson Heights is located on the west side, and it’s one of the oldest and most idyllic neighborhoods in this part of town. While it’s densely populated, it feels like a suburb.
